  • Glossae super Viatico [Constantini Africani]. In this MS., wrongly ascribed to Gerardus Cremonensis. Written in double column of 56 lines to a column in a small gothic script. Ornamental initial in red and blue with marginal decoration on fol. 1, other initials in red, headings in red. Fol. 1 (red) Incipiunt Glosule magistri Gerardi cremonensis super viatico. capitulum. 1. de allopicia. col. 1 Cum omnia ex 4 elementis generata a medicis quodam modo sint/cognoscenda... 56v, col. 2 ... betonice/radix quedam est que in india habundat et inde nobis affertur/similis est radice rubee maioris. calida. et sicca... This passage is found on fol. 190v, col. 2, lines 11, 12 in the printed edition of Venice 1505 of the 'Opera' of Gerardus de Solo, who should be more properly called Gerardus Bituricensis. Some marginal notes by contemporary and 15th cent. hand.
