Une note finale du copiste f. 197 indique que le manuscrit a été copié par Claude prêtre dans l'égile Saint Georges à Hara-Zawila (Le Caire) du temps de Jean, Métropolitain et d'Alexandre (Constantin) roi d'Abyssinie. La copie a été achevée le mois de maskaram de l'an 143 (1483). Le commanditaire de la copie est Tatamqa-Madhen. L'acte de donation en arabe se trouve au f. 198
