Le ms. comporte de nombreuses annotations marginales et une pagination de la main de G. Gaulmin, qui a également mis une note au f. 386v et une table des ouvrages cités aux f. 1-1v. Il provient de sa bibliothèque et y figurait déjà probablement en 1641 (Gaulmin avait alors entrepris de le traduire, cf. in Hamedallae Casbinensis Persae sapientam universi Gilberti Gaumini [sic] libellorum supplicum praefecti epistola dedicatoria Eminentissimo Cardinali Duci [de Richelieu], imprimée en 1641 à Paris). Ce volume (ou le ms. Persan 127) aurait été envoyé vers 1651 à Stockholm à la Reine Christine de Suède et restitué ensuite à Gaulmin. Au f. 386v figurent les paraphes des deux personnages qui firent l'inventaire de ses livres et le n° « trois cens quatre vingts onze ». Une notice signée d'Armain (n° 296) a été insérée en tête, avec une note de L. Langlès.
