Provient de la bibliothèque du cardinal Nicolò Ridolfi, où il est entré sans reliure ; c'est probablement là qu'il a été relié. Pinax et cotes de la main de Matthieu Devaris au f. 1r : n° 52 corrigé en n° 53 νγ' et n° 57 secundae dans la marge supérieure ; cote coupée dans l'angle inférieur externe du f. 1r, ce qui indique un fort rognage ; on lit également la localisation (della 2 cassa) en haut du f. [I]r.
Le manuscrit avait peut-être appartenu auparavant à Nicolò Leoniceno ou à Janus Lascaris.
