    • 1 volume; 15 leaves (last 2 blank). folio. 231/2 X 20 cm. On vellum, original sheepskin binding over wooden boards, bosses and clasps wanting: rebacked. Parchment. Written in a clear gothic hand, 27 lines to a page. Illuminated initial with marginal floreations on the first leaf, and on the lower margin emblazoned coat of arms [unidentified]. 26 other initials painted in colours with ornamental marginal decorations.

    Title: 'Ordinamenta et instituta egregii militis domini Bonifacii de Lupis, Marchionis Soraniae pro eius hospitale de Florentia'

    Incipit: 'Cum ego Bonifacius de Lupis de Parma Soranie marchio huius hospitalis conditor...'

    Explicit: '...uel omni alio iure quo melius ualere poterint. et hoc per yesum christum dominum nostrum. Amen'.

    There are a few marginal annotations, in Latin and Italian, by various 15th cent. hands. The MS. is a copy of the relevant part of the Founder's Will relating to the Hospital at Florence, which was opened in 1387.
